COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is designed to provide an intense overview of clinical Orthopaedic surgery especially for residents intending to take Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Board Exam, or the Orthopaedic In-Training Examination (OITE).

The sessions will be conducted by faculty in Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins who have significant experience teaching in fellowship and residency programs.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Following this program, the participant should be able to:

1) Evaluate & recognize bone and soft tissue tumors.

2) Evaluate & manage pathology of the spine.

3) Evaluate & manage pathology of the hand.

4) Evaluate & manage common pediatric problems.

5) Evaluate & manage simple &  complex foot/ankle problems.

6) Evaluate & manage adult hip/knee problems.
